Great Oaks was founded by Kate Haskins, a transformation leader with 25 years of experience inside large, complex organisations.

Kate's career began in FMCG marketing at Unilever, but she was always too curious to stay in one function. Over time she gravitated towards transformation, drawn by the breadth of it - the strategy, the people, the execution, and the moments when change actually takes hold. It became, simply, the work she loves most.

Over the course of her career Kate has worked with everyone from CEOs and board members to factory shift managers, engineers and HR teams, helping organisations build strategy, create the tools to execute it, and develop the people who make it real. Most recently, she led a major company turnaround and it was that experience that convinced her the time was right to bring what she does to a wider range of organisations and individuals.

Great Oaks Transformation is the result.

Kate brings what she calls "head and heart" to every engagement. She's straight talking and direct, willing to challenge and unwilling to paper over what matters. She's also deeply people-centred: pragmatic, caring, and genuinely invested in the humans she works with, not just the outcomes that they're trying to reach. It's a quality she has honed not just through experience but through formal training - Kate holds an ICF coaching qualification, bringing professional rigour to the one-to-one work alongside everything she has learned in the field.

Her real legacy isn't a single turnaround or a particular programme. It's a way of working that holds people and accountability in the same hand and the belief that lasting transformation only happens when both are taken seriously.
